Discover the new presentation of the Musée de l'Orangerie collection, from the large-scale Water Lilies decoration by Claude Monet to École de Paris [School of Paris] in the early 20th century artists - Picasso, Douanier Rousseau, Derain, Modigliani, Matisse, ... The exceptional loan of a set of African and Oceanian sculptures, previously in the Paul Guillaume collection, by the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, as well as several drawings and archives, enhanced the itinerary.

Early on, gallery owner Berthe Weill made a commitment to the artists of her time, helping to bring them to light and to launch their careers. From Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Diego Rivera and Amedeo Modigliani to Suzanne Valadon, Emilie Charmy, Pierre Girieud and Otto Freundlich, this exhibition is a portrait of a woman and her gallery in the first half of the 20th century.
